The robot that wanted to be a boy. (creative writing)
Once upon a time on a dark gloomy day, a robot was walking away from home with an unhappy smile on his face. You know he would not cry for it will rust him up in a flash. His heart was hollow, his mind was empty as he said to himself "I wish I could be a real boy". One day he stumbled across an old witches house. He knocked on the witches door and out came the witch all untidyly dressed. The robot said in a voice so soft, "would you be able to turn me into a real boy"? The witch snarled. She thought of a way to trick the robot, she would turn him into a little boy then eat him up. "Yes I can" replied the witch in a delightful way. "Thank you" said the robot. But the owner of the robot was a little boy named Robert he cared for his robot he would tear the world apart looking for his robot. A mile away the witches plan was coming together. The robot was so excited he was shrieking with joy but the witch forgot the words so she needed her magic book. She said in an evil way "Ill be back" but the robot had some suspicion that she was going to eat him then the owner of the robot burst through the door unexpectedly. The owner convinced the robot to come back home. The robot was not easily convinced but he agreed to come home. The witch came out of her bedroom just to see them getting away. As quick as a flash she stopped them from getting out the door but the robot knocked the witch out of the way and smashed the door open so they get out of there. One hour later they got home and the robot promised to stay home.

SHOW DAY 2010
On a hot Saturday the 16 of October we had our school show day.
Most of our class room had a stall to run to raise money for year 6 camp. At our stall we were selling jelly, popcorn, rice bubble crackle, lollies and lucky dips. We sold everything because Annalise and I walked around selling the rest of our popcorn and rice bubble crackle. Our stall made $119.20 wow.
All the classes had a exhibit. In our exhibit we had to make a vege creation, a unusual container, a miniature garden and a puppet at school. For my miniature garden I got 1st and my vege creation I got 2nd and also my unusual container got 3rd. When we got home the dog trashed my garden and my mini tree house is now dead.
It was a great day but lots of people got sunburnt and we did not go to bed until 12.00 but it was still fun.

On Saturday the 16th of October Kaipara Flats School had their annual Show Day!
In the morning I got up early and gave my beautiful calf (William) a wash. I gave him a brush and cleaned his hooves. We put him and Monty's lamb on the trailer and went down to the school. Around 10.30 lots of people were starting to come. I got my stall ready . Our stall was one of the popular stalls. We made $119.20. My dad and his friend (Rat) were on the quick fire raffles.
When it was my break from my stall, I played Squash the Square and the Winning wheel. I won a mini chocolate bar, yellow toy capsicum, velvet pencil and a shiny pencil. Also I bought 2 bags of candy floss, 2 bags of popcorn, 1 bag of sherbet, grape drink and a bag of lollies.
Near the end of the day Mr Lockie announced the winners for the calves and the lambs. I was very proud of William and myself because I won a yellow ribbon for rearing and a blue ribbon for grooming.
It was a great day and its my favourite event of the year. I felt sun burnt and tired but that was okay.

Soccer Game
On Wednesday 2 June Room 4 was in a game of soccer at Shoe Smith Domain.
When we got there I was really really lucky because I didn't have to play for the first half THEN I HAD TO BE THE GOALIE WHICH MADE ME MAD.
I improved a lot near the end of the day and it was quite fun and extraordinarily exciting.

The Spooky Sound Stone House
Carefully I sneaked closer and closer towards the lonely building. Through the scary overgrowing garden, rose vines like triffids, armed with sharp, spiked thorns tangled round my ankles as if trying to trip me over. Rising out of the mist, the empty, gray stone house stood silent, its boarded up windows tattered, graying lace curtains and neglected lawns witness to its desertion. As the very dark night approached the only sound was the restless lapping of the dark water against the slate canal walls, and strange, hollow tapping sound from the rear of the horror building. What could be making that sound? When I walked toward the back room, I heard a spooky sound. I felt nervous because I thought that might be a ghost. As I keep walking toward the back room where the spooky sound came from, there are two things in my mind that time, and it was, could be a ghost or someone making silly noise like a ghost. As I'd opened the door, it was smells horrible! When I walked in, there was a strong wind came from the broken window and I heard the door slammed! like if it going to break into little pieces.
A Day I'll Never Forget
A Day I'll Never Forget
Carefully I crept closer and nearer towards the building through the wildly overgrown garden, rose vines like triffids armed with pointy, spiked thorns, tangled round my ankles as if they were trying to trip me over. Rising out of the fog, the lonely, stone house stood silent, its boarded up windows, ripped, greying, lace curtains and neglected lawns witness to its desertion. As dusk approached the only sound was the restless lapping of the water against the slate canal walls, and a unusual tapping sound from inside the house.
As I approached the house the tapping sound stops and turns into a loud crash as if glass was been broken. I ran to the house and looked inside, a flying piece of wood flyies out of the window nearly hitting me. I decide to climb in and check it out. The house was full with old paintings, books and lots of junk. Cobwebs tell that know body has been here for a long time. As I make my way up the stairs I notice a big pool of blood on the dinner table. I raced down the stairs and stared at the blood, then a drop of blood fell from the roof. I look up and see a human body tided to the chandelier. On the floor I see a green alien thingy, and then it slowly walked up the stairs. I stood still not moving at all. My brain is still trying to catch up with my eyes. After about hour I get my head straight and I decide to go home and pretend none of this happened.

soccer
On Thursday 3rd of June Kaipara Flats School room 4 played soccer at Shoe smith Domain. I was in the social team. My favourite game was when we tied with Ahuroa. I played goalie but it was boring because the defence was really good and the ball never got close to the goal. The funniest thing about the day was that I slipped over heaps and I never got muddy. I really liked the day because everyone played their best.
